Please note, some of the advice in the above ACTEW document refers to suburban blocks.

The situation in Wybalena Grove is that the Owners Corporation is generally not responsible for costs associated with the repair of water, stormwater or sewerage mains or tributaries in Wybalena Grove. If you have a sewer or stormwater blockage, responsibility passes from the unit owner to the utility provider at the ‘tie point’, the point were a unit’s tributary joins the mains, even where the individual unit’s tributary passes under common property. See the Wybalena Grove Information Booklet and this discussion paper by David Palmer for further explanation of this policy.
